FLAVIA MASTRELLA e ANTONIO REZZA
Since 1987, Flavia Mastrella and Antonio Rezza have realized nine thearical plays, performed by Rezza into Mastrella’s scenographies: “Nuove parabole” ,1988; “Barba e cravatta”, 1990; “I vichinghi elettronici”, 1991; “Seppellitemi ai fornetti”, 1992; “Pitecus”, 1995; “Io”, 1998, produced by Teatro Stabile delle Marche; “Fotofinish”, 2003; “Bahamut”, 2006, produced by CRT Artificio; “7-14-21-28” 2009, co-produced by Fondazione Teatro Piemonte Europa and Teatro 91. They realized an endless serie of shorts and three full-lenght fims: “Escoriandoli”, featured in Venice in 1996; “Delitto sul Po”, 2001; and Fotofinish2, 2006. Between 1999 and 2000 they conceived and directed the TV show “Troppolitani”, broadcast by RAI 3. Between 1990 and 2006, Flavia Mastrella displayed sculptures, videosculptures and photos in Rome, Zurich and in San Lorenzo’s Certosa in Padula inside the “Le opere e i giorni” display by Achille Bonito Oliva. In 1998 Antonio Rezza wrote his first book “Non cogito ergo digito” published by Bompiani , followed by “Ti squamo” (1999), “Son(n)o” (2005), and “Credo in un solo oblio” (september 2007) by the same publisher. In 2007 Flavia Mastrella displayed her “Boe alla deriva” installation at Naples’ PAN. 2OO8: “Nell’Aldilà”, a short film based on Chicca Gagliardo’s book “Nell’aldilà dei pesci”; their documentary “Il passato è il mio bastone” was featured at Festival del Cinema di Venezia; “Ipotesi di film su Cristo Morto” (project for a film to be shot) was featured by Rezza at Milanesiana.
In 2004, Flavia and Antonio realized the jazz show “Fusion” with The Fringe.
DAVID MORENO e RAQUEL PEDREIRA
David Moreno (Villarrobledo, Albacete, Spain; 1977) wrote his first screenplay, Remolinos, under the auspices of the Canal + Guiones project (Canal + Spain). Ever since he has been combining writing feature film scripts, with screenplays for television series (Hospital Central, Acusados –Telecinco-), and working as a director on music videos and commercials. Socarrat was his first short film, winner of both audience and jury award at Lago’s last edition.
Raquel Pedreira (Santiago de Compostela, Spain, 1977) has worked for various production companies of the Spanish Audiovisual industry prior to launching her own, almaina producciones, which first narrative production was ‘Socarrat’, winner of more than 40 national and international awards.
SILVIO BANDINELLI e MONICA TIMPERI (aka FRANK SIMON)
Silvio Bandinelli born in Tripoli (Lybia), December 21, 1954.
At the age on six, his family moved to Florence, where he lived until 2009. He attended the School of Literature and graduated with honors in History of Cinema with Prof. Pio Baldelli. During his university studies he entered the advertising field, first as a model (the protagonist of the Vespa scooter press and TV campaign for two years) and later on as the owner of the Eureka agency which managed a number of brands, such as Adica Pongo or Linea Gig. His career as a director evolved with commercials Tortellini Rana, Hunday Pony, Roller Caravan and others. Later on he got in touch with the world of pornography, met Riccardo Schicchi and the producers of Cicciolina and Moana Pozzi’s films. He then produced the film “Masquerade” – both in its soft and hard version – in 35mms. In 1994 he left the advertising sector. In 1996, Silvio opened Showtime with his partner Monica Timperi, a company that produced and distributed porn films.
In his filmography, also “Cuba”, a film openly lined up with Che Guevara’s ideals. In 2003, “Abuso Di Potere” (“Abuse Of Power”) inspired to Cesare Previti’s story. His last film in 2008, “Nero Familiare” (“A Family Noir”), investigates middle-class decadence.
Monica Timperi was born in Rome. She studied foreign languages and Sociology at La Sapienza University of Rome, while also working in public relations. In 1996, she met Silvio Bandinelli. Together they soon launched the Showtime agency and Monica became its marketing manager and promoter of Bandinelli’s films to greatly contibute to their success in the Italian market. After “Gioventù Bruciata” (“Rebel Without A Cause“) – directed by Frank Simon, but entirely shot by Bandinelli – thanks to her background as Silvio’s assistant director, – she sort of “took possession of” Frank Simon and made two films using his name. She is the sole female porn film director in Italy ever. Other actresses or former-actresses appear as film directors, but they don’t actually shoot the scenes. With Silvio Bandinelli, Monica also directed “Festival” the outrageous film set in the Sanremo Festival.

ANTONELLO RINALDI
Antonello Rinaldi was born in a village of Montefeltro and grew up in Riccione. His writer career start in 1980, when Mondadori publishes one of his tales. He continues his studies in Bologna (D.A.M.S.) and in Urbino (School of journalism). Later he moves to Rome where he becomes pupil, friend and collaborator of Rodolfo Sonego: together they write many TV series (“Una famiglia in giallo”, “Un commissario a Roma” e “Provincia segreta” and a film (“Il quaderno della spesa”). During the years he collaborates with other important professionals of Italian TV and radio (Dardano Sacchetti, Leone Colonna, Marco Pozzi, Alexis Sweet and Marina Confalone). Since 1999 he is part of the scriptwriters team of “Vivere”, being in charge of dialogues. After many other important experiences (“Sottocasa”, “Incantesimo”) he is now working for a new RAI TV program called “Agrodolce”. Besides he realised the screenplay of “Toppol 313” for Marco Maccaferri.
MANLIO PIVA
A liberal arts graduate, he’s been a lecturer at DAMS in Padua since 2005 and has taught History of Italian Cinema at Boston University’s italian department. He also teaches Cinema and Electronic Media at Liceo della Comunicazione in Conegliano, he conceives and produces radio formats which he experiments with his students at a local radio. A passionate divulger of audiovisuals, he has collaborated with various formative agencies by publishing pamphlets, didactic proposals and, recently, a manual, Il coccodrillo luminoso, thanks also to the collaboration of Mediateca Cinemazero in Pordenone, of which Piva is a consultant.
